Applications are processed on a rolling basis and close either when the program is full or at the close of business hours 35 days before the program start date. If program space is available after the 35-day deadline, a maximum of four additional applications may be accepted with a late fee of 10,500 yen.
Please see the top page for the latest status on program vacancies. If your preferred start date is full, space may still open up due to cancellations. Please contact admissions@yamasa.org if you'd like to be added to a waiting list.
After you complete the online application, you will need to submit one (1) passport photo via e-mail. Once we've received your application and photo, you can reserve your place in the program by sending payment.
Please note that your letter of acceptance cannot be issued until your payment has been confirmed. If you need to apply for a visa, this is the letter that you show to embassy/consular staff during the application process. If you do not need to apply for a visa, then it is the document that you show Immigration upon arrival in Japan.
